Russell Mozumder is the Managing Partner and leads our Insolvency & Company Restructure and Litigation & Corporate Crime Defence practice groups.
Russell founded RM Legal Solicitors in 2009. He is an experienced and highly-regarded Managing Partner with a long and proven history of working in the legal profession. Russell has a substantial following of clients particularly in the insolvency, finance, manufacturing, retail and property sectors.
Relevant experience
Russell has extensive knowledge in dealing with contentious insolvency, re-structuring, litigation and commercial matters and acts for clients in a wide range of commercial and insolvency matters. His practice includes acting for insolvency practitioners, companies, lenders and borrowers and other stakeholders of distressed businesses. Russell’s clients benefit from the experience he has gained in dealing with complex litigation, bankruptcy, corporate recovery and restructuring and insolvency matters for the past 20 years.
Russell advises on all aspects of distressed situations whether transactional or contentious, cross-border or domestic, restructurings, exit strategies and enforcement options, book debt recovery administrations, receiverships, liquidations, CVAs and all related litigation matters. He has represented clients nationwide in the County Court, High Court & Bankruptcy Court and he has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution processes to achieve cost-effective results for his commercial clients.
Russell deals with a wide range of insolvency & litigation issues and deals with all types of insolvency procedures and both contentious and non-contentious matters. Russell enjoys dealing with technical problems, investigating issues and finding a solution.
