We may be able to deal with your matter on a “No win no fee” [Contingency Fee Agreement] basis subject to review of your case.
No Win No Fee [contingency fee agreement]
We shall review your matter and if you have prospects of over 50% of successfully winning your claim then we may be able to deal with your matter on a contingency fee agreement [No Win No Fee]. This is likely to mean that we shall deduct 30%-35% inclusive of VAT from the recovery of your damages which you would recover from your Employer after the Employment Tribunal hearing or settlement of the claim. You will not be responsible to pay us our fees if you are unsuccessful in your claim however you will be responsible for your expenses such as barristers fees and/or any proposed Tribunal fees.
Legal Expenses Insurance
If you have a legal expenses insurance policy under your home insurance or motor insurance policy then this may cover your legal expenses for your matter. Please let us know us know the details of your legal expenses insurance if you have one.
Fixed Fee Tribunal
If we are unable to deal with your case on a no win no fee basis then you need to pay our fees in advance as a retainer. We shall charge a fixed fee of £1,750 plus VAT and travelling expenses for a day hearing at the Tribunal [usually for Redundancy and unfair dismissal cases]. You may in addition be responsible for Counsel’s [ A Barrister’s] fixed fee for the presentation of the Hearing which will be notified to you prior to the Hearing date. This fixed fee may vary subject to the complexity nature of your case.
One off Advice
We can provide you with one off verbal advice in conference for a fixed fee of £250 plus VAT [Up to one and half hours] regarding your employment rights and grievance procedure etc. Additional costs will be charged for written advice.
If you require constant assistance regarding your grievance or disciplinary procedure then we can advice you via email or over the telephone [limited to 5 hours for a period of 2 months from your initial enquiry] for a fixed fee of £800 plus VAT. This excludes writing/drafting letters on your behalf.
