Mortoza Chowdhury is a consultant in the firm’s Immigration practice group.
Mortoza has a following of clients covering all types of immigration laws. He has experience in personal, business and human rights immigration matters. He deals with a range of immigration applications for both corporate and private clients.
Relevant experience
Mortoza was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) as a Barrister (currently non-practicing), having previously worked for another firm of solicitors in London since 2001.
Mortoza’s casework ranges from securing sponsor licences for businesses to judicial reviews preventing the deportation of individuals. He has extensive experience in family migration, EEA cases, and human rights including representation in the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC).
He is experienced in settlement and naturalisation applications, assists with family immigration matters and advises on applications for EEA nationals. He has been actively involved in appeals to the First-Tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal on applications for discretionary leave to remain in the UK made under Article 8 ECHR and applications for judicial review.
